Environmental Science and Engineering (Academic):This major trains joint graduate students together with State Power Environmental Protection Research Institute. This major was rated as "Jiangsu Province Joint Training of Graduates Demonstration Base". This discipline focuses on the research of atmospheric environmental chemistry, air pollution control technology, water pollution control technology, environmental ecological engineering, environmental risk assessment and countermeasures, environmental materials and other fields, and possesses the significant characteristics in the field of atmospheric environment.

Resources and Environmental Engineering (Professional):This major has established the joint training bases with some research institutes such as: Nanjing Institute of Geography & Limnology Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Soil Science Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Yangtze River Innovation Center for Ecological Civilization. This discipline mainly focuses on the fields of environmental reaction engineering, environmental biological engineering, environmental chemistry, environmental materials, solid waste treatment and resource recycling and other fields. Combined with engineering practice cases, the major aims to train the applied and composite high-level engineering technology and engineering management talents for the environmental protection and meteorological departments and other relevant departments.
